Yesterday
was bring to a conclusion the crossing Portoroz-Muggia with
Costal Rowing boats. The display, called "Settimana dei Tre
Golfi", was organised by the Pullino Rowing Club in
collaboration with the Muggia Sailing Club.
It was the first Costal Rowing competition on the stretch of
sea between the East of Italy and the Slovenian coast.

The
match race finished with a dead heat between the boat of
Piran Gulf and the boat of Muggia Gulf.
This first experimental competition had great results,
everyone was satisfied: competitors, managers and trainers.
Luca Kleva, Ales Lapajne, Tomas Sorgo, Kristjan Grizancic,
cox Filip Grizancic (the crew of V.K. Piran, representing
the Gulf of Piran.
Andrea Costagliola, Maurizio Fragiacomo, Umberto Santin,
Mitja Zobec, cox Luigi Carboni ( the crew of Pullino Rowing
club, representing the Gulf of Muggia).
The starting point was in front of Portoroz (San Bernardin)
and the finishing line was in front of Pullino Rowing Club.
The boats did five knots an hour because of the strong
contrary wind during the second part of the competition.
When the match finished, the competitors went to the
town-hall, well-received by the mayor of Muggia, Dott. Nerio
Nesladek.
The prize-giving (at the Sailing Club Ladi Ciani) was held
by Dott. Nesladek, Dott. Franco Degrassi and the manager of
the club.
